Small and old hamlet Griže is situated on the low hill, east of Ivančna Gorica. It consists only of a few farms, among them the one that has been occupied by the Tomazic family and their direct decendants for at least 400 years. The adress has always been Grize 2, but is now Grize 4. It is interesting that even today there are still ruins of an ancient water collector, which has always been the source of good quality fresh water, though situated on the top of the hill (there is a possibility that the name of Grize has originally been Grice="Hills").
